Safety Lesson 1: Fire Emergency Drill

On the afternoon of February 18, Mercer Electric joined hands with Xinghai Street Emergency Management Center in Longwan District to conduct emergency escape drills.

Before the drill began, the emergency management professional teacher made detailed arrangements for the process and personnel division of the drill, and demonstrated the self-rescue methods and actions in the event of a fire. During the formal exercise, thick smoke billowed on the second floor of the factory building, and the sirens in the factory area were heard one after another. The responsibilities of each team member were clear, and communication, evacuation, guidance and fire fighting were carried out in an orderly manner. All the staff moved quickly, with towels covering their mouths and noses and bowed their heads and quickly ran out of the factory building.

Later, the teacher explained how to use the fire extinguisher and asked the staff to operate the fire extinguisher in practice to further strengthen the fire safety ability of the staff. At the same time, the teacher organized the staff to cross the fire evacuation and escape experience room, and truly experienced the high temperature and smoke environment of the fire scene, so that the staff could understand the importance of fire safety in actual combat.

On the afternoon of February 20, the company organized the workshop directors and key personnel to carry out the training and study of the first lesson of safety, and invited safety management experts to give lectures.
